All customers utilizing VMware Skyline are eligible for a 30-day free trial of vRealize Operations Cloud. After signing-up to try vRealize Operations Cloud, customers are granted access to the Try vRealize Operations Cloud Organization. Since this Organization is different than the Organization where Skyline Advisor is available as a service, the customer must switch Organizations to access the vRealize Operations Cloud trial.
This article provides steps for how to access the vRealize Operations Cloud service, within the Try vRealize Operations Cloud Organization, as-part of the free trial.
After signing-up for a trial of vRealize Operations Cloud, you will have the capability to launch vRealize Operations Cloud, from within Skyline Advisor. Since vRealize Operations Cloud is available within a different Organization, it will require that you switch Organizations, within VMware Cloud Services, to access vRealize Operations Cloud.
Follow these steps to access vRealize Operations Cloud from Skyline Advisor.
Click Continue on the VMware vRealize Operations Cloud Trial Flow pop-up message within Skyline Advisor.
In the top right-hand corner of the Cloud Services Console, click on your Account Name, and Organization, to open the Selection menu.
Click Change Organization.
Select the Try vRealize Operations Cloud Organization.
Click on the vRealize Operations Cloud service.
After completing these steps, vRealize Operations Cloud will open. The vRealize Operations Cloud service within the Try vRealize Operations Cloud Organization contains details from a pre-configured environment. The environment details seen within vRealize Operations Cloud, will be different than the environment details seen within Skyline Advisor.
