Recovery Plan status stays at Recovery In Progress if the SRM server restarts during recovery

Issue/Introduction

When you run a recovery plan, if the remote SRM server stops unexpectedly when the recovery group status is in the Recovering phase, the recovery plan can remain stuck in the Recovery In Progress status. The status of the recovery plan should change to Recovery Interrupted, but does not.

Resolution

To work around this issue, perform the following steps:

1. Cancel the recovery.
2. Restart the remote SRM server.

The recovery plan shows the correct status and you can run the recovery plan again.
