How to Activate VMware Success 360 Digital Learning Subscription

Issue/Introduction

This article provides the roles definitions, creation of the VMware Customer Connect Learning (VCCL) account for coordinators and steps for activation, future access to Digital Learning Content, and performance tracking on VCCL for subscription users.

Subscription Coordinator

Creating a VMware Customer Connect Learning (VCCL) account

 If the designated Subscription Coordinator of the VMware Success 360 Digital Learning subscription does not have a Learning account, they can follow the steps below to create a Learning account and sync their details. ·
Once logged into Customer Connect , the subscription Coordinator only needs to click on Learning Tab, and then click on Learning Home, as shown below

Please note that for the subscription registration in the system, only the Learning account of the Subscription Coordinator is required. The Subscription Users who will be enabled with VMware Success 360 Digital Learning may create their Learning account at a later stage in case they do not have one yet.

Activating your subscription – part 1

After registering for the VMware Success 360 Digital Learning, Subscription Users can activate their subscription by following one of the options below:
Option 1: Subscription Users will receive an automated email from [email protected] similar to the screenshot below. By clicking on the place indicated, the Subscription User will be directed to the VMware Learning login page.


Option 2: Subscription Users can log into their Customer Connect account, click on the Apps button on the far-right side of the page, and then click on the Learning app.



Any of the options above will bring the Subscription User to the VMware Learning page shown on the next slide.
Activating your subscription – part 2

Once on the Learning page, click on myEnrollments, and then on the Accept button to accept the Terms and Condition


Once accepted, the Subscription User will be directed to their subscription page on VMware Customer Connect Learning (VCCL).







Future access to the VMware Digital Learning content

After the subscription activation has been done, to access the self-service Digital Learning content catalogue, Subscription Users can log into their Customer Connect account, and then click on one of the options below to be directed to VMware Customer Connect Learning (VCCL):
1. by using the Learning dropdown menu and select Learning Home, or
2. by selecting the Learning app and clicking on Log in to Connect Learning


Once logged onto VMware Customer Connect Learning (VCCL), Subscription Users can search content by using the Learning Library as shown

Please note any content tagged as “Enterprise (ELS)”, refers to micro-learning content brought from the Enterprise Learning Subscription to the VMware Success 360 Digital Learning subscription. That micro-learning is not the complete On-Demand courses required for obtaining VMware Certifications.

Tracking your own performance on VMware Customer Connect Learning (VCCL)

On the VCCL Dashboard, Subscription Users can track their own performance in a couple of different ways, as described below. To go to the Dashboard, click on the arrow beside your name on the top right corner of the page and then click on Dashboard.


A) Subscription Users can click on View Transcript Summary to view the content accessed and its completion status.


B) Scrolling down on the Dashboard page, Subscription Users will find the Performance Stats session, where they can see the learning time invested in a certain period of time.
