Update Report Tables Job Fails if Entity is not set in PPM

Issue/Introduction

Issue: 

Load Data Warehouse job fails with the Error:  Populate - rpt_calendar. Couldn't execute SQL: Call RPT_CALENDAR_SP()

ERROR: Entity has not been setup in Data Warehouse Settings

 

This also occurs on the individual job Update Report Tables  (Formerly known as 'Update Business Objects Report Tables' job)

with ERROR: Entity has not been setup in Data Warehouse Settings

 

 

Environment

Release: All using data warehouse

Resolution

To add an Entity: 

1. In PPM, go to Administration -> General Settings -> System Options
2. Scroll down to the 'Data Warehouse Options' section and update the 'Entity for Fiscal Periods' and then click Save.

Note: As noted under 'Entity for Fiscal Periods' field, setting an entity for the first time will cause the Time Slicing job to take longer then normal to process the first time after this setting change has been made as it is installing the new data warehouse time slice requests)
