Issue/Introduction

vCenter upgrade is unsuccessful.

Environment

Cause

This is because the upgrade ISO is attached to the vCenter instead of the patch ISO.

  • After downloading the FP ISO, upload it to a datastore from which we will attach the ISO to the vCenter VM.
  • Attach the ISO from the datastore by going to Edit Settings > Select Datastore in CD/DVD > Attach the ISO > and check the option for "Connected."
  • Log in to VAMI, then navigate to Updates > Check Updates > Check CD-ROM > Stage > Install.
