What are Resource Exception Notifications in Smarts IP?



Resource Exception Notifications in Smarts IP indicate that one or more processor- or memory-related faults exists for a particular system. They are aggregated events and include the following:

• MemoryException
• ProcessorException
• FileSystemException

For MemoryException, the following are the components which can form the aggregation:

• HighBufferMissRate
• HighBufferUtilization
• ExcessiveFragmentation
• InsufficientFreeMemory

For ProcessorException, the following component can form the aggregation:

• HighUtilization

For FileSystemException, the following component can form the aggregation:

• HighUtilization
