Resolution

Steps to configure one Smarts SAM server to connect and subscribe to events from another SAM server: 

• Confirm/ensure that both SAM servers are subscribed to the same broker.
• On the top level SAM, go to the Global Manager Admin Console.
• Expand ICS Configuration > ICS Domain Configuration.
• Right-click Domain and select New Domain.
• Enter the name of the lower level SAM server in the "Domain Name" field.
  Note: This field is case sensitive. 
• Select Next.
• In the "Create New Type" field, enter a name such as SAM. MPLS or whatever is an applicable name, and select Next.
• In the "DXA FILE" field, select dxa-sam.conf.
• In the "Minimum Certainty" field, enter 0.1 and in the "Smoothing Interval" field, enter 65.
• Select Next > Next > Next > Finish.
• Run a Reconfigure operation to apply the configuration changes.
