How do I start a second detailed trap receiver in Smarts?
How do I verify if I am receiving traps in Smarts?




Run the following command:  

<BASEDIR>/smarts/bin/sm_snmp -D -p <port> trapd > filename
 example: sm_snmp -D -p 5555 trapd > ~/trap-output

Make sure the trap forwarder is forwarding to the receiving port in <BASEDIR>/smarts/local/conf/icoi/trapd.conf
