How do you create port objects based on port descriptions in Smarts AM?

To create a port in Smarts IP Availability Manager based on the port description, you must create Port Objects based on Port description entries in the tpmgr-param.conf file.

Example
For an entry such as IFDescrPattern-SwitchPort Port-channel*,  port Objects will be created based on Port Description Port-Channel. Consider a walk containing an entry similar to the following:

1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2.370: Port-channel99

If there is no corresponding 'portChannelIfIndex' MIB entry, Smarts will not create a port by default. However, you can still configure Smarts AM to create the port by adding the above entry to the tpmgr-param.conf file which matches the Port-Channel port description.
