Symptoms:




Following error message is received when importing Notif NCI into Smarts SAM

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Cause

Smarts SAM currently does not support the import of NCIs with spaces in the name. e.g "NCI-<CLASS>.Loss Of Signal - Port Down".

Resolution

Code changes have been submitted to allow the import of NCIs names with spaces into SAM. For the latest status on this fix, contact your EMC Customer Service Support (CSS) representative or the EMC Customer Support Center and quote this solution ID.
