BIM Hook Script is not being processed in Smarts SAM

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Cause

Since the Impacted notifications are generated within SAM itself by the BIM server, these notifications are not processed by ics-nl-processing.asl which actually triggers a Hook Script to process notifications. 

So, even though there is an option to enable Hook Script for BIM server the same way it is done for the other Domain managers, the notifications are not processed by the hook scripts since they are created in SAM itself. 

Resolution

This behavior is as per design. As a workaround you can customize the behavior using sm_notify or custom adapter script.
