How do I configure the Smarts Web console to use client tools?

Starting with SAM 6.5.2 RP7 and greater, client tools are accessible using the Smarts Web Console.  To configure client tools, do the following:

1. Add the following line anywhere in the webconsole.properties file:
   
   com.smarts.clientToolsInApplet=true
    
2. Ensure that the client tools are accessible on the client based on the browser type, as follows:
    
3. • For Internet Explorer: Create a folder named actions on the Windows Desktop, and create a folder named client within the actions folder. Put all of the client tools into the client directory.
      
   • For Firefox: Create an actions directory within the directory where Firefox is installed (the default directory is C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox).  Within actions, create a folder named client. Put all of the client tools into the client directory.
      
4. Ensure that the client tools have been configured properly in the Global Manager Administration Console.
