Resolution

Reading in changes to discovery import files without restarting the domain.



Once the changed .import file is in place <BASEDIR/IP/smarts/conf/discovery or <BASEDIR/IP/smarts/local/conf/discovery, run the following command:

<BASEDIR>/IP/smarts/bin/sm_adapter -s <server name> -f <full path to import file> import.asl

Additional Information

A restart of a domain will read-in changes to .import files, however restarting a domain is not always possible.
