Issue/Introduction

The purpose of this article is to inform that this alarm does not have any impact on data plane and can be safely ignored..

Alarms reported "vSphere Clusters Prepared for NSX has reached capacity threshold". This is observed in NSX-T version 3.1.x & 3.2.x

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.1.x

VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.2.x

 

Cause

This is caused by a bug where unprepared NSX hosts are incorrectly included in the capacity threshold calculation.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.2.1 and above.
