Log files Locations:

• dmesg - tool that output the errors that occur.

• fw monitor – built-in tool for capturing network traffic at the packet level. The FW Monitor utility captures network     packets at multiple capture points along the FireWall inspection chains for more information go to

• fw ctl zdebug + drop - The fw ctl zdebug drop lists all dropped packets in real time and gives an explanation as to why the packet was dropped.

• /etc/cloud-user-data.sh.log , /etc/cloud-user-data.sh.script, /etc/cloud-user-data.sh.clish – this logs gather information on the setup of the SVM. If the SVM was not configure correctly, you can check this logs for more information.
