[VMC on AWS] vRealize Log Insight Cloud shows logs older than log retention period

Issue/Introduction

This article provides information about the issue where old logs are displayed.

Symptoms:
Basically, vRealize Log Insight Cloud log retention for 30 days. (7 days for free subscription)
The logs older than the log retention period of 30 days are displayed on vRealize Log Insight Cloud.

Cause

This issue is due to the current vRealize Log Insight Cloud design.

Resolution

When using vRealize Log Insight Cloud, please understand that due to the current design of vRealize Log Insight Cloud, logs older than the log retention period (e.g 30 days) may be displayed.
