Issue/Introduction

This article provides information regarding VMC console session timeout feature.

Symptoms:

VMC console is timed out within 30 minutes even though "Idle Session Timeout" value sets to more than 30 minutes in CSP. If "Idle Session Timeout" sets to less than 30 minutes session timeout works fine.

Cause

VMC console has own session timeout feature with a hard-coded timeout of 30 minutes. This cannot be increased or removed.

Resolution

This is an expected behavior, there is no resolution and workaround so far. This will be fixed in the future.
