This article provides information on the initial checklist in case of issue.

Resolution

1. Overview of the issue.

2. HCX support information.
Get the following information both on-premise and cloud (VMC on AWS)
  • vSphere Client > HCX plug-in > System (Support) > Support Information
3. HCX Service Mesh and Appliances information.
Get a screenshot of the Service Mesh and Appliances.
  • vSphere Client > HCX plug-in > Intrastructure (Interconnect) > Service Mesh
  • vSphere Client > HCX plug-in > Intrastructure (Interconnect) > Service Mesh > [VIEW APPLIANCES] > Click on the ">" to the left of the Appliance Name to get an expanded screen.
4. HCX health check.
4-1. Get a screenshot of the result of diagnostics.
  • vSphere Client > HCX plug-in > Intrastructure (Interconnect) > Service Mesh > [RUN DIAGNOSTICS]
4-2. Please refer to the following KB and get the result. 5. HCX perftest information.
Please refer to the following KB and get the result.
6. HCX log bundle.
Get the log bundle in the following request both on-premise and cloud (VMC on AWS)
  • vSphere Client > HCX plug-in > System (Administration) > Troubleshooting > "Check-in all items" > [REQUEST]

Finally, If you are going to create a SR (Service Request), Please upload the files you got above to our FTP server by referring to the following KB.
