This KB discusses how to find the serial number of the VxRail Appliance to open a case with Dell VxRail support.

At the front of the VxRail Appliance, in the upper right corner of the chassis, locate the appliance luggage tag.
Pull out the blue-tabbed luggage tag.
Locate the appliance serial number label on the pull-out tag.
The PSNT is the 14-digit number located on front edge of the luggage tag.

When a VxRail is installed it creates a local datastore. The first part of the datastore name is the Service Tag
Via SSH/Putty session, issue the following command: df -h
Example output:
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
VMFS-5 22.2G 7.4G 14.8G 33% /vmfs/volumes/EMC2JIBOH04-04-01-service-datastore1

You can also run the following command /opt/vxrail/tools/ipmitool fru print 17 from any host in the cluster.
