Cause

This is a regression introduced in ESXi 7.0U3, which causes vSAN Health Service to not able to correctly identify some of the NVMe devices in the HCL, even though the device is certified to be used with vSAN.

Resolution

Upgrade vCenter/ESXi to version 7.0U3f

Workaround:

If the health warning blocks any remediation workflow, user can silence the "NVMe device is VMware certified" by clicking the 'SILENCE ALERT' button on health UI.
