Resolution

Q: What does the Cluster Health – Remote vCenter network connectivity check do?

It will check remote vCenter network connectivity and vpxd of the mounted remote vCenter Server datastore.

Q: What does it mean when it is in a warning state?

There is an issue with the network connection between the local and remote vCenter Server, such as SSL verification, connectivity, or vpxd.

Q: How does one troubleshoot and fix the error state?

Verify the connectivity of the remote vCenter server and check the status of the vpxd service using the command "/usr/sbin/vmon-cli -s vpxd". Ensure that the "HealthState" is "HEALTHY".
