Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
You are able to create the profile VHDX files on both CloudCache providers (vSAN File Shares), but they are smaller than the local proxy file (local profile) that is replicated to the file shares. And they don't see to grow.

Environment

VMware vSAN 7.0.x

Cause

The failure is due to the lack of fallocate support.

Resolution

The use of Microsoft FSLogix Cloud Cache with vSAN FS is not supported.
