Cause

  • If LACP is enabled on the host but not configured correctly, this health check will show a yellow or red alarm based on the configuration errors.

Resolution

  • If this check is showing a warning state, it means the LAG is up but some uplinks are not ready; if this check is in an error state, it means that the LAG is down or no uplink is in a "Bundled" state. The LAG name with its state and physical NIC name with its port state are displayed in the health check details.
  • Check if there's no physical cabling issue (not connected, CRC errors, etc).
  • Check if the LACP configuration is correct and consistent on both the physical switch and virtual switch.
