VMware is announcing the End of Life (EOL) for the following Management Packs, effective December 31st, 2023. Following is a list of the Management Packs, and where applicable, alternative ways to integrate those technologies with Aria Operations. As these management packs are EOL they may be no longer available to download or when attempting to download you may receive a message to say you are not entitled to download the management pack.
End of General Support: Aria Operations Management Pack for Cisco Networking
Recommended Transition Path: The Management Pack for Network Devices is the recommended replacement for this pack.
End of General Support: Aria Operations Management Pack for Citrix ADC (NetScaler)
Recommended Transition Path: Customers can use the VMware Aria Operations Content Builder to connect to the NetScaler API and create their own Management pack.
End of General Support: Aria Operations Management Pack for Dell EMC PowerMax & VMAX
Recommended Transition Path: Customers can use the VMware Aria Operations Content Builder to connect to the Dell EMC Unisphere API and create their own Management pack.
End of General Support: Aria Operations Management Pack for Dell EMC VNX
Recommended Transition Path: There is no transition path to monitor VNX arrays in Aria Operations.
End of General Support: Aria Operations Management Pack for Dell EMC XtremIO
Recommended Transition Path: Customers can use the VMware Aria Operations Content Builder to connect to the Dell EMC XtremIO API and create their own Management pack.
End of General Support: Aria Operations Management Pack for Docker
Recommended Transition Path: The Management Pack for Containers is the recommended choice to monitor Docker environments.
End of General Support: Aria Operations Management Pack for HPE 3Par
Recommended Transition Path: Customers can use the VMware Aria Operations Content Builder to connect to the 3Par API and create their own Management pack.
End of General Support: Aria Operations Management Pack for HPE Nimble
Recommended Transition Path: Customers can use the VMware Aria Operations Content Builder to connect to the Nimble API and create their own Management pack.
End of General Support: Aria Operations Management Pack for IBM HMC
Recommended Transition Path: Customers can use the VMware Aria Operations Content Builder to connect to the HMC API and create their own Management pack.
End of General Support: Aria Operations Management Pack for IBM PowerVC
Recommended Transition Path: Customers can use the VMware Aria Operations Content Builder to connect to the PowerVC API and create their own Management pack.
End of General Support: Aria Operations Management Pack for IBM SVC & Storwize (SAN Volume Controller)
Recommended Transition Path: Customers can use the VMware Aria Operations Content Builder to connect to the SAN Volume Controller API and create their own Management pack.
End of General Support: Aria Operations Management Pack for NetApp E-Series
Recommended Transition Path: NetApp E-Series are EOSL and thus we cannot continue to support them.
End of General Support: Aria Operations Management Pack for NetApp SolidFire
Recommended Transition Path: Customers can use the VMware Aria Operations Content Builder to connect to the SolidFire API and create their own Management pack.
End of General Support: Aria Operations Management Pack for Microsoft Azure SQL
Recommended Transition Path: The native Azure management pack monitors the SQL environment.
Note: A previous version of this article included Aria Operations Management Pack for Lenovo Compute in the list of management packs that are End of General Support. That has been rescinded. Aria Operations Management Pack for Lenovo Compute will continue general support beyond December 31, 2023.

For customers of any of these Management Packs that were accessed as a feature of another offering, you will continue to have access to those Management Packs until the end of your current subscription or term.
