Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
When attempting to upload a comma separated value (CSV) file in a setup which has vRealize Business for Cloud 7.4 and above integrated with vRealize Automation 7.4 and above, you experience these symptoms:
  • The upload fails.
  • Similar error messages are reported:
Invalid CSV file input for importing server hardware groups


Environment

VMware vRealize Automation 7.4.x
VMware vRealize Business for Cloud 7.5.x

Cause

This issue occurs due to a known issue in vRealize Automation integrated with vRealize Business for Cloud.

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware vRealize Business for Cloud 7.4 and above with vRealize Automation 7.x.

Currently, there is no resolution.

Workaround:
To work around this issue:
  1. Log in to the appliance using this URL: https://<vRB_Domain>/itfm-cloud/vraLogin.html. Use vRA tenant, user id and password.
  2. Upload the CSV.
