Error NET::ERR_CERT_INVALID when accessing HTML client for vRO 7.6

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• When you open the vRealize Orchestrator HTML client URL https://vROFQDN:8283/vco-controlcenter/client from any of client browser you see the below warning with no way to proceed.

 

Environment

VMware vRealize Automation 7.6.x
VMware vRealize Orchestrator 7.6.x

Resolution

A quick way to bypass this message — open Advanced and see if you have a Proceed to website option.

Workaround:
Click anywhere within the web page and type badidea or thisisunsafe directly in browser on the same page.
