Environment

VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.12.x

Cause

VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle requires the Admin Group to have full Admin permissions in vSphere in order to deploy VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator 8.x with vSphere Authentication.

Resolution

  1. Add full admin permissions to the Orchestrator Admin Group.
  2. If you are working with VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.12 or 8.14 remove the old VM(s) and retry the deployment.
Note: VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.14 Patch 1 will allow you to retry the request after adding the permissions.
