Symptoms:

• vCenter vpxd service crashes or shows errors related to FileManager::Delete operation

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 6.7.x
VMware vCenter Server 6.5.x

Cause

A user-session is logged out before the operation (FileManager::Delete) could execute and that causes errors in vpxd service.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, please update vCenter to the recommended versions below:

• If using vCenter Server 6.5 - upgrade to vCenter Server 6.5 Update 2h (or newer)
• If using vCenter Server 6.7 - upgrade to vCenter Server 6.7 Update 3d (or newer)
