Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • You have multiple blueprints from the same content source
  • After releasing, not all blueprints are found

Environment

VMware vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.x

Cause

This issue occurs when a parallel update of the vRA content source overwrites other blueprint data causing only the latest blueprint to be visible.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.8.

See the Workaround below for additional information.

Workaround:
  1. Take a snapshot of the vRSLCM appliance
  2. SSH / PuTTy into the vRSLCM appliance
  3. Run the following command to change directories
    cd /opt/vmware/vlcm/blackstone/configuration/content-config
  4. Open the file bootstrap_content_category_config.json
  5. Change the minConcurrentPipelinesPerEndpoint and maxConcurrentPipelinesPerEndpoint value in the list where id is Automation-v7 and Automation-v8
  6. After changing the values, restart the service with the command
    systemctl restart blackstone-spring
