vRO Plugin with a proxy configuration such as SOAP is not respected and does not go through this defined proxy

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• You have configured a proxy in a vRO plugin, but the connections are not reaching the proxy server.
• vracli proxy show details the default proxy configuration at the appliance level

Environment

VMware vRealize Orchestrator 8.x

Resolution

VMware is aware of this issue. See the Workaround section below for additional details.

Workaround:

Prerequisites

• Please take simultaneous non-memory snapshots of each virtual appliance(s) in the cluster.
• You have access to root user and password.
• You have SSH or console access to each virtual appliance.
