Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
In vRealize Automation 8.4.1, when creating a new workflow in vRealize Orchestrator with an input of type array of sdk-objects, you are not able to select an action for a default value and/or value options in the multi-value picker component.

Environment

VMware vRealize Automation 8.4.x

Cause

The input form designer is not able to create the proper request for listing actions that return an array of sdk-objects when using the multi-value picker input component.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in vRealize Automation 8.4.2+.

Workaround:

Prerequisites

  • Ensure there are valid snapshots and/or backups before proceeding.
  • Take simultaneous VM snapshots without memory of all vRA nodes.

The product version in the UI will not change after the hotfix is applied.
Installing the Patch through vRLSCM may be repeated for each vRA 8.4.1 environment registered within the same vRSLCM instance.
