Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

Custom Request forms are not loading or takes a long time to render.


Environment

VMware Aria Automation 8.14.x

Cause

  • In VMware Aria Automation 8.14.0, an issue exists that causes an increase in Custom Form rendering time.
    • This is dependent upon the number of fields a form has.
    • For most forms, the increase is not noticeable, but for more complex forms with hundreds of fields and complicated Default value rules, this slowdown may exponentially increase the time it takes to render a form.

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in VMware Aria Automation 8.14.1 and all future releases.
