Issue/Introduction
You are able to map one of templates between "Content Libraries" and "VMs and Templates" in Image Mapping menu in Aria Automation.
You use the template of VMs and Templates in Image Mapping menu and provision a virtual machine using the template, the disk file, or vmdk, has 000001 appended at the end of the name.
Example:
With release of vCenter 7.0, check in/out feature was introduced. This feature is developed for customer to manage versioning of templates in Content Libraries.
When the template is created in "Content Libraries", it consists of parent and child virtual disks and child virtual disk is used for versioning.
Resolution
If you do not want the newly create virtual machine to append "-000001" number to vmdk file, you must use the template from Content Libraries.
