Resolution

  • No resolution as yet, apply the workaround if affected by this issue.

Workaround:
  • In Configure - Policies - Add a new policy named for example "AVS ESXi Hosts", keeping the option to Inherit From: vSphere Solution's Default Policy.
  • Select Metrics and Properties and use vCenter Host System as the Object Type.
  • Browse to Properties - Network - Discovery Protocol and Deactivate all the metrics in Cisco Discovery Protocol and Link Layer Discovery Protocol.

  • Select SAVE
  • Select Groups and Objects and under Objects select vCenter - Host System and tick the box to apply the new policy to the Azure VMware Solution related ESXi host(s).
  • Select SAVE
  • Wait for the next vCenter collection cycle and verify all metrics are now being collected and the Virtual Machines are being displayed in all default dashboards.
