Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Viewing storage policies at the Provider or organization VDC level displays the following error:

TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'sort') Capabilities:

• Unable to change the storage limit or initiate any modifications in that storage policy for the Organization VDC.

 

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.x

Cause

This issue occurs when the backing cluster reference is missing from the Cloud director database.
For example, a cluster was removed from vCenter and the Organization VDCs still reference this cluster in the Cloud Director database.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, please open a Support Request with VMware Technical Support and reference this KB article 95817.
Database modifications may be required to resolve this issue and will require VMware Technical Support assistance.
