Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Reverting a snapshot of a VM in a multi-VM vApp will revert snapshots for all VMs in the same vApp
• Reverting a snapshot will cause all VMs in a vApp to revert snapshot.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.x

Resolution

This is a known issue in the VMware Cloud Director 10.3.2 GA build 19173640 (installed build 19173133).

This issue is resolved with the new 10.3.2a build 19375095 (installed build 19375051) which replaces the previous build. This is available for download via the Broadcom Downloads page.

Workaround:

For customers currently on 10.3.2, the current workaround is to remove the following Right from Roles and re-publish to the Tenants

• COMPUTE
  • vApp
    • Create / Revert / Remove a Snapshot
