Virtual Machine Monitoring Chart is missing in vCloud Director 10.0

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• When selecting Details of a Virtual Machine it is observed that the Monitoring Chart section is not appearing correctly.
• Cassandra is set up correctly and metrics can be retrieved for the affected VM through the vCloud Director REST API both for current and historic:

GET https://vcloud.example.com/api/vApp/vm-id/metrics/current

GET https://vcloud.example.com/api/vApp/vm-id/metrics/historic

Cause

This is a known issue affecting vCloud Director for Service Providers 10.0.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in vCloud Director 10.0.0.1, available at VMware Downloads.

Workaround:
To work around this issue please use the vCloud Director REST API to retrieve the metrics for a VM.
