Issue/Introduction

This article provides instructions needed to accommodate this upgrade scenario.

Symptoms:
  • If the base VMware Cloud Foundation 2.3 version is something other than expected (i.e. a custom bundle was installed that incremented the VMware Cloud Foundation 2.3 version beyond the default value), the most recent upgrade element might not be able to be applied in the SDDC Manager UI (Lifecycle page).


Resolution

Update the /home/vrack/lcm/lcm-app/conf/VersionAlias.yml file to note that the currently installed version is appropriate for upgrading to the new version.
