LACP and VDR Port Teaming policy fails in ESXi 6.7.x with NSX-T Data Center 2.4

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• LACP is down between N-VDS on Transport Nodes and Physical SW.
• Ping connectivity across VM-SR across same LS is broken.
• LACP teaming policy on the VDR port was incorrectly set.
• Issue is only observed when using NSX-T 2.4.0, 2.4.1, 2.4.2 with ESXi 6.7 hosts. 

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center 2.x
VMware NSX-T Data Center
VMware vSphere ESXi 6.7

Resolution

This issue is resolved in: 

VMware NSX-T Data Center 2.4.3, available at VMware Downloads .
VMware NSX-T Data Center 2.5, available at VMware Downloads.

 

Workaround:
There is no workaround when using ESXi 6.7 hosts.

Additional Information

This issue does not affect ESXi 6.5 hosts.

Impact/Risks:
Loss of connectivity across VMs and Service connections (Service Routers, etc).
