Gateway Default Firewall Policy is in an Unitialized state

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

The following symptoms are seen
 

• On the NSX UI Security -> Gateway Firewall -> T0/T1 -> Gateway Specific Rules

 Policy_Default_Infra is in an "Unitialized" state

 

• Clicking "i" for more information

  "NOTE: Some recent changes are in progress"

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center
VMware NSX-T Data Center 2.x

Cause

The status is Unitialized because the default rule is already present on the Management Plane (Advanced UI).
There is no functional impact.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.0, available at VMware Downloads.
