Issue/Introduction

When BTGing a database definition, if changes are made to the non-keyed fields but not to the length of the record or the element that the fields are in, once it is copied to PROD status and ENABLEd, is it necessary to catalog the dataview in Ideal?

Environment

Release: All supported releases.

Resolution

The BTG job catalogs the dataview to the directory (CXX) with the 1000 CATALOG transaction but if you do not change the length of a record or the element that the fields are in, you do not need to re catalog the dataview in Ideal.
