Admin logged in to vRealize Operations has Read-Only access

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
When vRealize Operations is deployed from vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager, administrative privileges are not assigned to the VIDM Admin.

Environment

VMware vCenter Lifecycle Manager 1.0.x
VMware vCenter Lifecycle Manager 1.1.x

Cause

This issue occurs when VIDM is integrated with vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager and vRealize Operations is deployed from vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager.

Resolution

To resolve this issue:

1. After successful deployment of vRealize Operations from vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager, log in to the vRealize Operations UI by accessing https://vROPS-IP/ui as local Administrator.

Note: The default user name is admin and password is same as the default password provided in vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager during the vRealize Operations deployment.

2. Navigate to Administration > Access Control and grant the required additional privileges to the VIDM admin. For detailed information on setting up access control in vRealize Operations, see:
