Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
Usage Meter fails to collect usage data from a product already added for metering.

Resolution

To resolve this issue - review, validate, and troubleshoot the following:
  1. Find more information in the logs for the product in the following directory of the Usage Meter appliance: /opt/vmware/cloudusagemetering/var/logs.
  2. Verify if the product version is supported in theĀ VMware Product Interoperability Matrix.
  3. Double-check if the hostname or IP address and port of the metered product are correct.
  4. As a final option, reboot the Usage Meter appliance by entering the following command in the Usage Meter (Web or Remote) Console as root:
