You may see one or both of the following errors in the logs:

[esx.problem.net.vmnic.watchdog.reset] Uplink vmnic13 had recovered from a transient
failure due to watchdog timeout.
[vob.net.uplink.watchdog.timeout] Watchdog timeout occurred for uplink vmnic13.

Impact

Frequent warnings (more than a few times per hour), might indicate a network adapter hardware problem.

Resolution

This event is informational only. Occasional reset warnings can be safely ignored.
