Issue/Introduction

VMware Aria Operations for Networks GUI takes longer time to load, when Chrome (Chromium based Browser) is used in comparison to Firefox.

You see "Not secure" display next to the URL for the Aria Operations for Networks GUI. When you expand the error message, you see "Your connection to this site is not secure" and you may see an error that the Certificate is not valid or Certificate (Invalid).

Aria Operations for Networks 6.10.0
Aria Operations for Networks 6.11.0
Aria Operations for Networks 6.12.0
Aria Operations for Networks 6.12.1
Aria Operations for Networks 6.13.0
Aria Operations for Networks 6.14.0

Cause

Chrome browsers do not cache files when HTTPS Certificate shows Not Secure/Trusted.

Resolution

No Resolution available. Chromium considers this as a Security limitation not a bug.

Workaround:
To work around, perform any one from below:

1. Install CA signed certificates on  VMware Aria Operations for Networks Platform Appliance.

2.  Use latest/updated version of  Google or Mozilla Firefox browser.
