Symptoms:
Workload domain creation workflow fails on the "vCenter: Configure Host" task
You see messages similar to the following in the /home/vrack/vrm/logs/vrack-vrm-debug.log file on the SDDC Manager Controller VM
2018-11-11 04:53:54.900 [pool-26-thread-8] ERROR [com.vmware.vrack.vrm.vsphere.VsphereUtils] Task (MOR:task-433) com.vmware.vim.binding.vim.ClusterComputeResource:addHost is failed com.vmware.vim.binding.vmodl.fault.InvalidArgument: A specified parameter was not correct: Invalid host IP (rack-2-n3.abc01.xyz.local) or address resolution failed for host rack-2-n3.abc01.xyz.local
Caused by: com.vmware.vim.binding.vmodl.fault.InvalidArgument: A specified parameter was not correct: Invalid host IP (rack-2-n3.abc01.xyz.local) or address resolution failed for host rack-2-n3.abc01.xyz.local

Environment
VMware Cloud Foundation 2.3.x VMware Cloud Foundation 2.2.x
Cause
The "vCenter: Configure Host" task will creates DNS records for the new workload domain esxi hosts and it will restart the DNS service, but the task might resume before the DNS service is fully started. This will result in a name resolution failure for the new hosts and the workload domain creation workflow will fail.
Resolution
This is known issue affecting VMware Cloud Foundation 2.2.x and 2.3.x.This issue is resolved in VMware Cloud Foundation 3.0.
Workaround: To workaround this issue, click the Restart button for the failed workflow. The task will continue without any intervention as the DNS service will be up and running.
