VMware Cloud Foundation 2.2.0.1 cannot be applied to non-management Workload Domains

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• VMware Cloud Foundation 2.2.0.1 update has been applied to the management Workload Domain but not to any other Workload Domains.
• VMware Cloud Foundation 2.2.0.1 update is not available to be installed to any other Workload Domains.
• VMware Cloud Foundation 2.2.0.2 is available to be installed on the management Workload Domain.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 2.1.x
VMware Cloud Foundation 2.0.x

Cause

This issue occurs because the VMware Cloud Foundation 2.2.0.2 update contains critical fixes to VMware Cloud Foundation components that must be installed before update operations against additional Workload Domains will be allowed.

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware Cloud Foundation 2.2.

Currently, there is no resolution.

Workaround:
To avoid this issue, ensure that VMware Cloud Foundation 2.2.0.1 update is scheduled in the management Workload Domain and all other Workload Domains at the same time. 

Note: If you do not follow this, the VMware Cloud Foundation 2.2.0.2 update will need to be applied to the management Workload Domain before the VMware Cloud Foundation 2.2.0.1 update can be applied to any other Workload Domains.
