Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
The VIC plugin displays the following message in the HTML5 client, "Could not find any VIC appliance VM".

The logs in /var/log/vmware/vsphere-ui/logs/vsphere_client_virgo.log have messages similar to the following. 
[yyyy-MM-DD HH:mm:ss.SSSZ] [WARN ] http-bio-5090-exec-2com.vmware.vic.PropFetcher No VIC appliance


Cause

The VIC plugin does not handle the inventory when collecting properties from multiple vCenter in Enhanced Linked Mode.

Resolution

VMware is aware of this issue and working to resolve this in a future release.

Workaround:
Use the vic-machine-<OS> cli to deploy the VCH when using vCenter in Enhanced Linked Mode.
