Issue/Introduction

OneClick Console in Windows desktop shows GMT time zone in Alarms tab

Environment

Spectrum OneClick installed on Windows

Cause

Time zone was set on Windows computers via a group policy object (GPO) which specified to use the standard time.

Resolution

Set the DisableAutoDaylightTimeSet value back to default value (0) on the Windows desktop.

1. Launch the Registry Editor (regedit.exe).

2. Navigate to \HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation\.

3. Double-click on DisableAutoDaylightTimeSet, change the value to 0 and click on OK button.

4. Launch the OneClick Console.

Additional Information

It is possible that the following registry values are missing:

  • DisableAutoDaylightTimeSet REG_DWORD
  • TimeZoneKeyName REG_SZ
In that case, you have to manually create them and set the appropriate data.
