Intermittent packet loss is observed after completing the Edge migration phase
The impacted VMs are still running on NSX-v hosts
There are no log errors associated with this issue
Environment
VMware NSX 4.x VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.x
Cause
After Edge migration phase, VMs on NSX-v hosts are routed via the NSX-T DR. Due to incorrect handling by the NSX-T DR, ARP resolution is impacted which causes intermittent packet loss.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in VMware NSX 3.2.3.1 This issue is resolved in VMware NSX 4.1.1 This issue is resolved in VMware NSX 4.2.0
Workaround: Proceed and complete the Host migration after which this issue will be resolved.
